Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with non-stick spray to prevent the dough from sticking.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick. Carefully transfer the dough to your prepared baking sheet, stretching it out to the edges if necessary.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, dried Italian seasoning, and salt. Stir well to ensure the garlic and herbs are evenly distributed throughout the butter.
  4. Use a pastry brush to spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the entire surface of the dough. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the top, covering the dough from edge to edge.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes. The breadsticks are done when the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and starting to turn slightly brown in spots.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 to 3 minutes. Use a pizza cutter or a sharp knife to slice the dough into 12 even strips. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with a side of marinara sauce.
